This is a small hotel situated in the small town of Fjällbacka. Its located close to the harbour where the boats leave for Väderöarna island and Valö island. Its also only a short walk from the busstation. The rooms all have names instead of room numbers. We stayed in the one called Yoko that is situated on the top floor with a window and a view towards the sea and the harbour. An amazing view. Furniture were a bit old and worn but functional. There is a flat screen TV, wifi is free and worked ok. There is no safety deposit box. The bathroom was large and had a bathtub with a shower. We had dinner in the restaurant and can really recommend it, lovely fish dishes. Breakfast was an extremely good buffet, plentiful and beautifully presented. Im not sure Ive had a breakfast as good at this in any other hotel in Sweden and still I have travelled a lot. There was a nespresso machine free for the guests to use. Different kinds of juice but also smoothies. Muesli was presented in small glass jugs that you picked and took to your table. The youghurt or milk was also to be put in a glass jug. An interesting way to serve this. There were ingredients for omelettes, fried eggs or scrambed eggs and a pentry in the middle of the room so one could make your own omelette. A funny thing that actually worked quite well. The restaurant where breakfast is served has a view towards the sea. I strongly recommend this hotel even if the price for an overnight stay is a bit on the high side. Its not luxury but very well kept and friendly.
