“Romantic 5 days”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

We stayed here 5 days and enjoyed it very much! Daniele (the owner / receptionist / cooker) was very helpfull and always were happy to help. The location of the hotel let us reach all of the attractions in a short walk.

Last but not least, Daniele speaks English which also makes this places unique in the village.

From Brisighella we could reach several big cities in 1,5 hour by car (Rimini, San Marino, Faenza).

My boyfriend and I are travelling a lot, but this was the one of the best trip we've ever had.
Service in hotel was really good, staff was extremely helpful. Hotel is quite old, but everiting was very clean. It is placed in the center of the village, but, however, Brisighella is so small that everything is reachable by foot.
Brisighella offers a lot of one-day trips, since it is located near many small towns (for example, beautiful Dozza) Breakfast was ok but Daniele, the owner of hostel is a great chef, so we had a delicious dinner.
I often hear that the worst pizza someone ate was in Italy, but the best I ever tasted is definitively in Brisighella in a hotel Valverde. Please don't be discouraged by older waiter or old-looking interior. Otherwise, you will miss the excellent gastronomic experience.
The village is very romantic, a lot of places to visit, beautiful views from hills…
We had a great opportunity to taste local vine, olive oil.... In one word: perfect!

Great place to stay. The owner Daniele and his wife are very nice and helpful people. The town and the surroundings are beautiful. You must try their home made pastas. From Brisighella you can reach San Marino, Florence, Rimini within an hour by car. If you stay in Brisighella, you must try their home made cheese, olive oil and Ca Pirota wine (especially wine Mamolo).

Room Tip: Rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor have a better view on the town

Excellent location to visit Emilia Romagna and Tuscany, the village is very nice, quiet, the countryside is amazing. The owner Daniele makes fantastic authentic food, he and his mother are very kind. It worth to taste the local artisan beer (Estro) and eat as much as you can in the hotel's restaurant.

Room Tip: The 3rd floor is the best to reach the terrace on the top of the building.

I went there with my wife and my 3 months daughter. Nice village, very peaceful, weather could have been better. Nice hotel, peaceful too, good food. On top of Brisighella there are three hills with castles/towers. We went to one of them, reachable by car, but was closed.

We wanted to stay somewhere where we could easily get to Bologna airport in the morning. This friendly comfortable hotel in the very interesting town of Brisighella was ideal. Daniele and family are perfect hosts (and chef) and we were well looked after and enjoyed an excellent dinner. All the courses were very good especially the mixed antipasto, the local soup with pasta and the fillet steak.
In the afternoon we took the fairly easy and very scenic walk up the road and steps to the Rocca, around the track to the clock tower and then down the stairway to town again. Longer walks are also possible and there is a guide in the town. The medieval "borgo" is worth visiting too.

Room Tip: We were in 319 with the views of the clock tower, fountain and town. An aircon machine is in the roo...
