We walked past, smelled great turned around and came back. Nice food, great wine, really enjoyable night. We started with cheese goats, cows, sheep, ricotta yum. Don't expect variety the choice was only a couple of dishes we had baked pork cheek ( which we probably never would have ordered) but it was lovely. Fantastic chocolate torte with coffee.

Beware no visa but bank only a short walk so no drama - we enjoyed our night

La Grotta in Brisighella is a lovely night out. We ate there on the 9th of August. The fixed price menu was €25 and was great value and quality. We started with meat and chesse board, then had a plate with 2 different pasta dishes followed by a piece of steak and local pork all excellent. The desert was apricot tart and custard. Stuffed to the gills. 2 wines the local white Albana and a lovely Chianti. Lovely setting and decor. The young waitress had perfect English. Book if you want a table outside which on Friday nights is lovely as there is a market on so loads of atmosphere. Bliss the memory will keep me going through the winter.

We came across this restaurant with its all-artichoke menu (25euros including water and wine). Since it was the season, that's what we had! Each course was tasty, with the primi being the best - a combination of homemade pasta with artichokes and peas and a declicious cheesy artichoke torta. We were very full by the end of this lunch and it was excellent value.
The restaurant itself, in the cave, is interesting - check out the bathroom - fun!
