We stayed the night for our anniversary in one of the more expensive rooms. The meal is included except the taster menu which is an extra £40 (should have ordered it). The food is amazing, really good from the canapés to the deserts and there's a great wine selection.
The dining room had the feel of a tea room rather than an expensive restaurant and the rooms looked the part, but the fixings such as the shower heads and taps were very cheap. I also didn't understand why the flag stone floor had been painted with a rubber like paint but it looked awful. If they had a damp problem then there's better, although maybe more expensive ways to tackle it.More
