This is a beautiful restaurant, inside & out the place is amazing. The views from the outside restaurant are beautiful, this is definitely a place where you could propose !! It is a bit more expensive than your local pizzeria, but you pay for what you get. Check it out.

Wonderful setting, attentive personal service and excellent Tuscan food and wine. Always an excellent evening of high quality. Chef makes a point of chatting to guests towards the end of service. Nothing seems too much trouble for the staff here.

Bacciomeo is an excellent, high-quality family run restaurant in picturesque village Palaia. Bacciomeo’s slogan is “food – wine – art” which perfectly summarizes what you will find at this place.

The restaurant is located in an ancient villa with impressive paintings on the walls – this place has just been renovated. There is also an outside area for warm summer nights including a small panorama terrace where you can witness great sunsets over the Tuscan hills.
The wine-list is extensive and starts with very good choices for reasonable prices. Start with the Prosecco of the Pinot Noir grapes (EUR 12,-/bottle) – you won’t regret it. In this price range we also had some bottles of a very good red wine, daughter Momia will guide you through her portfolio.

Monia is the engine of this family business. Fluently in English and full of energy she takes care of her guests in a very charming and attentive way and is running around the perfectly decorated tables. Monia’s mother is the chief of the kitchen and you will find a typical mixture of premium Tuscan antipasti, primi and secondi piatti. Every dish we have tried during our two stays was extremely tasty – especially the home-made pasta with truffles and porcini. Monia’s father professionally takes care of the ancient fire-place in the living-room: he burns special oak wood in order to get a hot and amazing glow – the best pre-condition for the high-quality meat and for sure the best steak I had for a long time. Needless to say that the desert keeps the high level of this sympathetic restaurant.

We highly recommend this place and will for sure come back to this great place whenever we are around.
