Very friendly welcome and service, the rooms are all en suite, good size, clean and well furnished / decorated. Good facilities, tea and coffee provided, nice garden and veranda, lounge with TV and quiet reading area.
Generous continental breakfast included and also does excellent evening meals on request.
Very good value for money.

We spent a few days with this lovely couple, John and Pam, who took care of everything we needed. We had a very clean and spacious room. There is a nice veranda to sit in the evening and a small, but very welcoming swimming pool. When you're in this region of France: stay in Le Chene Vert. that is also very reasonably priced. We recommend it! Thanks John and Pam for all of your care.

Room Tip: We loved the room Cedar

Three of us stayed there in 2 separate rooms for the price of a single room. On a Monday night night no nearby restaurants were open so John cooked us a wonderful dinner. The next morning we had the best breakfast of our 3 week trip to France and Spain. They were very helpful about roads, things to see, etc. Located fairly close to two World Heritage sights. Would go back again.

John and Pam gave us a lovely welcome and made us feel instantly at home. The feeling on arrival of spaciousness also extended to our bedroom and bathroom, which are kept to a very high standard of comfort and cleanliness. The dining area has a 'baronial' feel to it, with very high ceiling and mezzanine floor, where there is a second guest sitting area. We loved sitting on the veranda looking out onto the huge garden, listening to the silence interupted only by birdsong or the odd sheep. As for the food!! All meals were well presented, plentiful, and absolutely delicious. At my request John even printed me off a recipe or two! We will definitely return! The best B & B ever!!!

John and Pam are wonderful hosts - and great cooks! Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made our stay both pleasurable and memorable. It was just like staying with close friends. It was also terrific value! Cannot recommend their lovely Chambre D'Hotes too highly.

We stayed with John and Pam for 4 nights in May 2009 while i was house hunting. I came over with my sister in law to look at one particular cottage which was known to them. I did actually put an offer on the cottage and had it accepted. John and Pam were so thrilled for me that they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate. They feel like old friends now. They are superb hosts and the food and hospitality second to none. We felt so at home with them and had the most relaxing time while doing something quite stressful. We have been back to see them when there to complete on the cottage. Another warm welcome.
Visit them if you are looking for somewhere welcoming in the area, I can promise a delightful stay. See you soon John and Pam

We stayed with Pam and John in August 2007 at a very bittersweet time for us as we were there to clear a much-loved family holiday house in Millac ,which had been in the family for years. My parents had spent several months of the year there but my father had died and so we had sold.We needed a comfortable and peaceful base to return to each evening after a hard day of work and emotional strain, and La Chene Vert was that place. Pam & John were very kind and comforting and brilliant hosts. The house is beautiful and is in lovely grounds. It is perfectly situated to do lots of sight seeing in this lovely and unspoiled part of France. John and Pam have built excellent facilities for disabled visitors. If I return to Millac I shall certainly stay there again.
