Visited red mountain yesterday with two small kids to visit Santa. They had a ball, loved looking into all the little rooms , couldn't get a look at the naughty list. Didn't want to stop cuddling the rabbits and had great chats with the very friendly elves. Santa was top class, great chat with kids and then were delighted to be able to play around outside. Lovely hot chocolates to warm us all up before heading back to Dublin. Great day out, simple fun, lovely staff. Will go back in summer

Drove up from Dublin yesterday to bring our 2.5 year old son here yesterday and he had a ball. All in all it cost about 25 quid and we got 2 hours out of it. So we thought it was good value for money.
It's really only suited to younger kids though. IMO, he'd get bored of it a lot easier if he was past 4 or 5.
He liked the sleeping santa, the horse trap ride, the barrell ride. Think his favourite part was feeding the donkeys, ponys, goats in the area near the car park. There's long grass that you can use nearby that the animals seem to like. Took us ages to get him away from this!

We had a deal rush voucher for a family of 5, the weather was great. Red mountain farm wasn't ... It basically consists of a 2 filthy animal displays a couple of sheds with dated swings /climbing frames and kids cars/tractors and another couple of sheds with hay stacks that were made into the worst maze I've set eyes on. The sandpit shed consists of a gravel type sand and was so dusty that my kids found it hard to breathe in. We then ventured to the playground which is basically a field with a few swings, one climbing frame and a bloke who drives a tractor and charges you €2.50 a child to pull them around in home made cars made out of blue barrels. Oh and also a horse and cart which is an extra €2.00 per person to also be brought around the same field. I actually considered asking for a refund, but seeing as it only cost us €10, I let it go. So people save your money and pay a visit to Newbridge in donabate. Stay clear of this complete shambles
