This review covers the café and not the restaurant. We preferred to have dinner elsewhere, but not because of any negative reviews here or anywhere else.
The café offers up service in tune with what locals call "peninsula pace" (the equivalent of "island time"). But that's not a bad thing since we came here to relax, not to have wait staff in our faces.
Our favourite goodies: Cinnamon buns that sell out by 2 p.m. and the vegan/gluten free coconut bliss... a scrumptious piece of coconut macaroon dipped in chocolate that's not too sweet.
We stayed in the area for three days and returned here every day to get our pastry and coffee/tea fix, but only stayed once.
It was a popular spot for nearby swimmers, too.
