If you can do only one thing in Finland during summer, get a sailing boat and disappear to the Archipelago National Park for few weeks. The biggest marinas may be quite full during the high season (July) but there are plenty of small and quiet places to stay. The waters can be shallow so make sure you have good maps and not too big boat (<50 feet should be ok in most of the marinas, in unofficial anchoring places a bit smaller than that)

“Wonderful, just wonderful!”

You can´t find anything like this anywhere else in the whole world. Those who arrive Turku by ship say "I´ve never thought a ship can sail in the forest!" It´unique - and we know it and are proud of our archipelago. :)
