Our guide asked which pool was recently changed, so we had a very clean, hot soak. On the side the water comes in is the hottest. You can sit on little ledges. A shower and locker is provided. Do not expect the same in Aguas Calientes (no showers, pay for locker and towel, warmish water, not clean)

We went here after advice from our tour guide from Arequipa to Colca. When we got there it wasn't what we expected (natural pools of water),instead they take the water as it bubbles from the ground and feed it to large swimming pools. This didn't spoil the experience though. It was really relaxing and a fun way to spend a couple of hours

Our guide took us here at the end of our long day and to recline in hot spa water outside looking at the surrounding mountains was a wonerful and relaxing experience. Only 10 minutes from Chivay a must for tired travellers.

Thermal pools run with 2 main pools with slightly different temperatures. Nice for an hours or so but beware of head spins when getting out. A good point but possible a bad point, they bring drinks around to you to drink in pool which is good, but they serve in glass, don't know what happens if someone breaks a glass in the pool.
