“Neat as a new pin!”
Reviewed 3 weeks ago for a stay in June 2018

Lovely cottage for 2 ideally located for cliff top walks and bird watching at Bempton Cliffs. Nearby pubs and co-op very useful too. Helen is a lovely, helpful owner stocking the cottage with map, binoculars, tea , coffee and even shampoo. As she is 2 mins away there should never be a problem ... there wasn't for us when we arrived an hour early.

“"Immaculate, a real home from home"”
Reviewed May 29, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Puffins Nest was all we expected from reading the property description and more. Helen has a gem of a cottage let here, immaculate throughout and we would not hesitate in recommending the accommodation to anyone. Helen met us at the property and even though we were running an hour late, she was a perfect host informing us about the property, parking and the local area.
We only stayed 3 days, eating fabulous fish & chips from Lighthouse Fisheries in the High Street on our first day and an evening meal at The Seabirds Restaurant & Bar in Tower Street, which was very good.
If you are into birding or photography RSPB Bempton Cliffs is only minutes away. Lovely walks at North and South Landing. The area is a mecca for some rare migrant visitors to our shores, within 5 mins of leaving the cottage for a look about the area I managed a life tick (Rosy Starling). The area is lovely and I will return, 3 days wasnt enough to take it all in.

Loved it!!

I am glad you enjoyed the cottage I have tried to make it a homely cosy experience. It is very unusual for the neighbours cocker spaniel to be out of his own private garden area, he is very soft and sometimes a little over friendly, I can only apologise for his behaviour.
The shared cobbled area at the rear of the cottage is the private rear access for the five chalk cottages, four of which are holiday rentals, Puffins Nest is the only cottage with patio doors opening on to the area with table and chairs for sole outside use.

“Wonderful cosy cottage”
Reviewed May 16, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Stayed here for 3 days in May in order to visit Bemptom and surrounding areas. The cottage was clean and comfortable and Helen was a great host, friendly and welcoming. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back next year.

“Cosy cottage”
Reviewed April 15, 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We stayed here as visiting my parents in Bridlington. The cottage had everything we needed. It was cosy and warm despite the cold weather. Helen was very welcoming and just across the road if needed for anything.

“Very cosy well thought out cottage”
Reviewed April 2, 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Myself and my wife stopped at the Puffins Nest cottage over the easter weekend, we was welcomed upon our arrival by the owner Helen, who showed around and told us everything we needed to know and even left us a couple of easter eggs, , we found the cottage well set out and immaculately clean with everything you need to make your stay including a lovely log burner, we both found the bed to be very comfortable and even though the cottage is on the main road, we both had no problem sleeping on a night time, the bathroom is well set out with plenty of clean towels, our only criticism about the bathroom is the hight of the ceiling when your having a shower which is situated over the bath, i'm only 5'6" and my head was inch's from the ceiling, so i think anyone 5'9"+ would struggle taking a shower, so i think having a bath would be the only option, other than that we enjoyed our stay and we'd certainly go back.
