We stayed here on the Easter weekend. Found it quickly from M32 and it was in a lovely quiet setting despite being so close to the motorway. Parking was free with lots of spaces. The greeting from reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and our daughter was pleased with the double sofa bed all to herself! We used the swimming pool, which was lovely and warm and overlooked the garden/picnic/play area where there were lots of rabbits running around (very cute and very apt for Easter)! We had a DBB rate so had an evening meal as well as breakfast. The food in the evening was delicious and very good value for money. The staff were again very attentive and friendly. There is a little children's play area which, again, our daughter loved. The breakfast on Sunday morning was plentiful, despite there being a lot of visitors. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and we will definitely be staying here again.

This hotel has a lovely country park type of setting. My (executive) room was a bit dated but it was large and well appointed including a superb TV and bed. The advance booking weekend rate was good value at £39. But beware the extras. A soft drink from the fridge is priced at £2.55 and small bottles of water (cunningly left outside of the fridge next to the bed so might entrap you into thinking they were free) same price. Wifi is also charged extra. Restaurant prices also a bit steep but at weekends you can ask for a breakfast voucher from reception which costs £9.50 for the buffet instead of the normal £16.50. The staff were genuinely great.

Stay at this hotel on a regular basis and although the hotel can do with the rooms refurbished the staff and service make it worthwhile.
Sanpans restaurant is one of the best Asian restaurants I have visited and if you don't see anything on the menu John the chef will certainly go out of his way to cook something you will enjoy.
Joti and Nutcheewa from Sanpans also deserve a mention as their service always makes the night.

We stayed at the hotel mid March when we came to north Bristol for a wedding. It was a very good choice, the reception staff were excellent, and we were in our rooms within a few mins.
The room was good although not as large as we would have liked. Having said that it was adequate, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was nice and clean with the usual toiletries provided.
Breakfast was great everything you could want for a healthy start to the day and a good full English breakfast. Although the restaurant was quite busy the staff coped very well and kept things moving along nicely.
The hotel has a gym and in its grounds a fishing lake, it is situated just off the M5 and M32 which makes it an ideal base for a weekend break and exploring plenty of attractions.
Although the hotel is very close to the motorway and a busy "A" road the setting is quite peaceful and we had no traffic noise in the room. We would stay here again and would certainly recommend a stay here.
