“Highlight of the Summer”

Wow what a beautiful experience. Incredible restoration of a 66 foot 100 year old wooden boat. We went on a tour of the lake and just loved it. Lake of Bays is an incredible lake and Dorset is a special little village. The staff went out of there way to share the history of the boat and the lake. Well worth the trip to Dorset!

“Boats in dry dock”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013

Stopped by to check out the newly renovated Bigwin Ferry, maybe get a ride on it. Not so....its out of the water already. Amazing looking boat from a by-gone era. Walked around it - pretty neat. Get on it in 2014 maybe! Nobody at the museum.. it was closed. looks like lots of history in there.
