The ranch is beautiful, lots to do! Interacted with the horses, and felt extremely welcome! Fireplace was so cozy, loved the queen sized bed, so comfortable. The room was lovely. Overall amazing experience, I will definitely be going back again, many times.

We came because we needed a place to stay during a yoga workshop and found so much more! This isn't just an accommodation - it's truly a lively home away from home. Barbara is a charming, warm and energetic hostess. Despite being there to "work" we enjoyed marvelous food, wonderful conversations, a beautiful view and a healthy dose of fun. Like a really good friend, Barbara made sure we didn't forget to play and we're very grateful for her generous hospitality.

Room Tip: The ensuite room has it's own half bathroom - for showers all three rooms in the main house shar...

Barb is an amazing, warm and generous lady. From the moment we arrived I felt like part of the family - something I still feel sitting at my desk in England.

The barn is stunning. Better than I could have hoped for and a night-stay quickly turned into three. Despite Hurricane Sandy knocking at the door, the barn was cosy, roomy and wrapped in a lifetime of memories.

The kitchen is spacious, the lounge and dining area homey and bedroom more than comfortable. Something about waking up and seeing the horses moving is hard to explain.

The B&B is easy to get to and only a few minutes outside of town, making planning activities and meals very easy (if you can handle more food after breakfast:)

Next trip for me during the snow, then during the summer an- well, you get the idea.

Thank you, Barb.

Room Tip: Go barn or go home.

We had a wonderful time at this Ranch. The rooms are quite spacious and neat .The magnificant porch sight streches up to horizon with the white horses grazing in your view. The hostess is intelligent and with the good sense of humor.
Thank you, Barbara for your hospitality!!!!

This bread and breakfast was one of my favorites!! I love being at the ranch which is actually a working ranch with 8 horses, 4 rabbits, 3 chickens. Although, you can't ride the horses, you can pet, feed and enjoy the horses which are a sight to see as they graze Barb's 113 acres. There are 2 options at this b & b: you can stay in the house and have a choice of 3 bedrooms or stay in the loft above the barn where you can get the real western experience.

Barb, the owner, is kind and caring. Her life story is intriguing and her knowledge of stable life is impressive. Not only will you enjoy your stay, you will learn a thing or two about rural life.

The ranch is super close to the heart of Port Perry which makes it easy to enjoy the town.
All I can say: is BOOK! You will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: The loft is my first pick. The back room in the house overlooks the acreage.

B and B on the Ranch lives up to its name: It’s on an easily accessible 113 acre plot. (It’s right on the main road, but somehow you don’t really hear the noise). It’s also less than a 5 minute drive to restaurants and the Port Perry main street where you can walk around the lake and easily while away an afternoon.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are someone who seeks adventure and experience over a private, cookie-cutter getaway. (Barb, the host, sleeps in the basement of the main house, but she also has a private barn for rent.) Barb’s big personality and keenness to please and involve you might seem overwhelming at first, but you will walk away wishing you could take her with you. She’s offering a unique experience at an absolute steal of a price. For me and my friend, her close proximity made the stay infinitely more enjoyable: I will never forget the moments spent sharing stories in the darkened sunroom watching her 9 horses we’d met earlier come up to the house. It’s a memory I wholeheartedly hope to relive before the summer is out.
