“The Only Place We Will Stay When In Bobcaygeon From Now On!”

Extremely clean, quiet and friendly. One of the nicest places We've ever stayed. Great prices and hospitable staff. Super cute and cozy; a home away from home. Let me be more specific: We recently stayed here because of the great fishing in the area. Not only did we catch many huge fish, but the hotel had a BBQ for guests to use and a patio for us to chill on. The owners could not have been nicer and were very helpful. They have a hands-on approach to ownership which was refreshing, and you can tell that they are passionate about what they do. This place should be considered like a B&B and not a Motel; each room has its own unique touches and feels like an escape. Three Islands Motel wont remain a secret for long, so book ASAP. Now that we know about this little gem, we'll be finding more reason to return to Bobcaygeon with the Family!

Room Tip: We had the one of the "smallest" rooms, and it was more than enough for the two of us (fri...

We didn't know what to expect going to this motel with no recommendations but we were pleasantly surprised! The older couple who run the motel are very friendly, the room was very clean and spacious with a working air conditioner and they have a BBQ available with an outdoor eating area. When we needed a little extra time before our checkout they allowed us to stay 1.5 hours later with no charge. I would highly recommend this motel for anyone visiting Bobcaygeon.

We have stayed here twice, once in October 2012 for four days in one of their regular units and recently for three weeks from late February until mid-March in one of their three housekeeping units. It is an extremely well maintained establishment - newly renovated, comfortably furnished, quiet neibourhood, spotlessly clean, very reasonably priced and only five minutes from the centre of Bobcaygeon.
What makes Three Islands so special however, is the incredible friendliness and helpfulness of its owner, Liliane, who went to great length to ensure that we were comfortable, especially during our three week stay in the housekeeping unit. The unit had all we needed, TV, large fridge, full range with oven, lots of kitchen utensils, pots, dishes, etc., and when we asked if she had a couple of wine glasses, Liliane brought us a newly purched box of four the next day.
In summer they have a BBQ in the couryard for guests' use.
All in all, this small motel (12 units) is an excellent place to stay whether for one night or a longer period.

My wife and I needed a motel for the night of Feb. 16th. 2013 to attend a 50th. wedding anniversary party for friends who live in the area. We were given a list of all motels in the area and called two before this one and wasn't impressed by the person on the other end. When I called the Three Islands Motel the line was answered by Lilian the owner. She was so pleasant that we booked immediately.I inquired about taxi service in the area as the location of the party was about a kilometer away. Her reply. Not to worry we will shuttle you down and pick you up. Now that is what I call service. The room was spotless and newly upgraded and came with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Although it was only one evening we were throughly impressed and would highly recommend this motel and it's owners to anyone travelling in the area.

When: Labour Day Weekend 2012
Why: Offroading with Ural motorcycles

6 of us (3 rooms) stayed at the Three Islands over the September Long Weekend and we booked it blind. Each one of us was very pleased with the Motel and it exceeded our expectations. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. The Motel is recessed off of the highway, so very quiet, and the inner courtyard is shielded from the road, so things like motorcycles are not seen. There is also plenty of parking for trailers.

The Motel has gone/is going, through some room refurbishments, and the ones that have been completed are very comfortable, nicely appointed and clean. The one I stayed in was not completed yet....but I couldn't tell, as it was just as clean and nicely appointed. Each room also had a refrigerator, coffee maker (Tim's is 2 minutes down the Rd) and the usual accoutrements. The 6 of us were also pleasantly surprised to find a Gazebo and large BBQ for our use, which was perfect for our apres trail gatherings.

We all would highly recommend the Motel and plan to book it again when we visit the trails in Bobcaygeon.

We stayed here for one night based on reviews we read. We arrived in evening and only stayed the night however owner very accomodating when we called to book. Room was comfortable, clean and reasonably priced. We would certainly recommend for a longer stay than we had. Location was convenient to town. Owners are very nice and shared information about the area which was appreciate. We did not have one of the renovated rooms but after we saw the room, that was not a concern.

This cozy little motel was the favorite on our Canadian trip. The new owners are friendly, courteous, and eager to please. The clean, updated rooms (we had a smaller one) included microwave, cooler, coffee maker, just like the big guys! It is located close to downtown Bobcaygeon, a grocery store, and Tim Hortons. I'll be making reservations soon for next Summer so we don't miss out on staying there again!
