Had dinner on a friday night.... we sat outside, beautiful sunset, gorgeous setting but found my shrimp overcooked, bit tough. So I was a bit disappointed as I had made reservation for lunch the following monday, so wasn't sure if that was a good choice
Was back on monday for lunch , there were four of us and one "very grumpy toddler". We arrived earlier than planned and arrived at same time as Chef Emerol. Told him we were in a hurry and we probably shouldn't stay. He assured me he would get us in and out quickly. He was true to his word, within one hour we were out.
We had the most delicious chicken casedillas ever.... so good, we had to order another plate to share. We all enjoyed our lunch and I am wondering who cooked my shrimp on friday night, I don't think it sa Emerol. Emerol did say he was one of "many" chefs..
Give it a try, ask if Emerol is on duty the day you go. You won't regret it.
Note, service might be a bit slow as there is only one waitress.... Emerol waited on us and prepared our meal for our luncheon....
With such a beautiful setting, what's the hurry?
