Another lovely visit to heavy horse park cannot understand some peoples complaints, it is not a theme park or a five star hotel it is a wonderful rescue centre for those great beauties big and small a really lovely place to visit i have been about 13 times since 2012 with my baby grandaughter who is now two she loves it there adores all of the animals it is educational and play all together the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble the owners are lovely and always recognize and come and speak to you.
Those gorgeous animals are a credit to them and they have a lovely life safe until the natural end of their days.
Keep up the good work well done

“Never fails to please”

Our fifth visit in as many years. Brilliant to see how hard Richard and team have worked and continue to since they took over. Loads to do for the money, friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. If you're in the area please do go and visit, this is pretty much the last place you can get hands-on with heavy horses in the country sadly.

“Lovely day out”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2013

Me and my 7 year old daughter had a really lovely day.
The animals were amazing. The children were encouraged to get close to them and really enjoy them. All the activities were good fun with very little in the way of hidden costs on top of entry fee. ( £1 bag of feed for animals)
It's a very low tech experience, very simple and down to earth. If you want whistles and bells you will be disappointed but then it's probably not for you.
I would defiantly go again.

“Loved it”

Had a great day out. Two adults plus a two year old. Plenty to do.... Lots of horses, wagon rides, tractor rides, bouncy castle, playground etc etc. Friendly staff. Nice cafe. Good value for money. Been to plenty of farms and thought this was great.
