The owner and his staff were very friendly and knowledgable. The trip started with a tour of the stables where the owner told the history of the rescue horses, younger members of the group were able to collect the food buckets and give them to the horses. After this the children could have a go on a mini cart pulled by a shetland pony. We then watched a horse being saddled up ready to give some cart rides. There was an opportunity to have a go at driving a tractor and go on a tractor ride. The children enjoyed doing some groming and petting some rabbits. There was a nice childrens play area and we had lunch from the onsite cafe. All in all it was god value for money, however as they had experienced a lot of rain we were glad we had taken our wellies!!!
