The Agip Restaurant is tucked between a Shell petrol station and other commercial buildings spreading out from Mbarara to Masaka. The staff were not up to the usual high standards of Uganda, just adequate, think Travel Lodge. However the beer was cold, the food hot and tasty (we recommend the curry and the tilapia), and we enjoyed a thunderous rain storm which obliterated traffic noise. Best in the evening I suspect.
