“Amazing, and outstanding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

I have been to Sidi Ifni for the 3th time. The more, the better; I have never enjoyed tranquility and peace like I did there. Simply I go back whenever I can.

“Great walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

The turn-off to Legzira is about 10 kilometres from Sidi Ifni If you are travelling from Mirleft. It is a short drive along a decent road to an apartment complex, then there is a rough road on the left which drops down steeply. If you don't want to risk your car you can park at the top and it is only a 2 or 3 minute walk down to the beach where there are a couple of small pensions and restaurant shacks.
The walk south along the beach is magnificent with the wild Atlantic as a backdrop and soundscape. The arches are wonderful natural monuments and with a little imagination one looks like a dragon's tail embedded in the sand.
If you are visiting Sidi-Ifni this makes a great little sidetrip.

“One of the wonders of Morocco”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2013

There are no words to describe this beach and its fascinating rocks. Its majestic, unreal and I have visited it three times so far in all seasons and weather and it is always awe inspiring and so relaxing yet overpowering. It is easily missed if you are driving to Sidi Ifni on the coastal road. It is about 11 km before Sidi Ifni, which is another jewel.

“Beautiful arches”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

This is a really beautiful beach with several giant arches to the south. Check the tide schedule because you will not be able to go to all of them right around high tide. Especially nice to take photos just before sunset because the rocks are really red then, although you need a little luck for that with the tides. We started at Sidi Ifni and walked along the beach to Legzira. It's a long but nice walk and there are several nice big arches. However, we never figured out exactly where we were supposed to go up so we had some tough climbing up the cliffs in the end. So get clear directions before you set off on this walk and allow plenty of time.

“Al Gezira Plage”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

It has these red rock arches -lots of them - to the south of the road down to the beach. You can walk through at least 4 of them when the tide is right. You can probably walk all the way to Sidi Ifni at low tide, otherwise you have to climb up the cliffs (not difficult) and bimble along through the hammada in company with sheep and goats until you come out on the main road opposite the new mosque. From there you can may get a grand taxi or even a bus back into town
