“Not worth the trail upstairs”
Review of Robertson The Baker Ltd - CLOSED

George Robertson would be turning in his grave if he could see what his delightful baker's shop and cafe had turned into.

If they don't have what you want upstairs, don't expect the fattie wifie to have to trail downstairs to get it from the shop! That would be far too much to expect of her. The service has gone down hill too, in fact 2 speed service here - dead slow, and stop!

Pity really as Robertson's was a fantastic coffee house, with good service and pleasant staff and nice food. But that was all in the past. Now the staff please themselves and customer service is non existent.

We purchased bread and rolls after being tempted by it when window shopping. We put it in a dark bag in the boot of the car on Saturday and it was still fresh on Monday. The Tatty cakes are delicious
