I was on a cycling trip trip and had reserved a room ,on entering the hotel to book in there is no reception so finally found the receptionist in a small office,I requested a room with a bath and was asked to sign the credit card notification, the room being £65.My byke was outside so was concerned about the safety and shown a safe place to store it for the night. On entering the room the bill had already been shoved under the door,I was greeted with a room which for the price was hard to describe, holes in the ceiling and curtains ,lbulging floor covering dirty black tiling and a most offensive smell of what I can only describe of disinfectant. The bedding, towels etc were clean and staff on site helpful. The noise on the floor was terrible, banging on doors ,music etc.Later I confronted a member of the hotel to state my dissatisfaction and he would sort it.
