“Great experience!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2013

My husband & I came here on the advice of The McKays of Keith Cottage. Excellent choice! The food was fantastic. My husband had the monk fish- the plate presentation was just beautiful! As they say, you eat with your eyes first. He said the dish was very well put together & the flavors were perfectly matched to the dish. I had the chicken fillets & chips. Again WELL DONE! The batter on the chicken was very light & tasty and the chicken very moist & flavorful. Dessert was cheesecake with a light blueberry sauce and ice cream & we both wanted more! Here too, the plate presentation was almost too pretty to eat! I thought the menu pricing was spot on. Not at all too pricey for what we had. Also the wine selection was very good & the pricing was fair. Our waitress and the rest of the wait staff were great. None of them hovered & let us have our meal & conversation in peace. It was a lovely evening celebrated with truly great food & atmosphere. DO try this little gem!

“Not so Good Now”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013

Pricey menu with no Lunchtime choices.
Staf not very friendly.
Not as busy as before (or the place next door) which may be a further indication that the Ship is sinking.
WE will not go back again. What a disppointment!

My wife and I booked a table in their restaurant for dinner on Wednesday night at 18.00 pm. The staff were very friendly and went out of there way to serve us. the main meals were very good and
very good value for money. They specialize in local seafood but you can have a steak if you want. There was a birthday party for a little boy going on at the same time we were there. I would recommend you to try eating here.
