We had the rooms beneath the roof. They are small but very nice decorated and with a wonderful view on the harbor. You have a nice view at the sunset and the sunrise. The breakfast is good.

second visit to this B&B with a great location overlooking the harbour. Room was nice and clean, with everything you would expect (except shampoo). ensuite shower room was a little small but adequate for 1 night.
Very lucky with the weather, meaning that when we woke up the view over the harbour on a calm sunny morning was fantastic.
Breakfast was basic, and with just a little extra effort would have been great. Rather than just a choice of cereal, some fresh fruit and yoghurt would have been nice, and why no choice of how you like your eggs? Probably the easiest part of a traditional breakfast to make fresh (the fried egg) was more like hard boiled and the white was leathery.

I lodged my mother there for one night in mid-September 2009. A single, top room with perfect view over the harbor.

The best about this B&B as its not near the hotels/Inns on the harbor, which allow outdoor smoking and drinking, so it gets kind of loud down at that end of the harbor. Twentyfourshorehead is at the end of the road.

The room was fitted perfectly! The bathroom was fitted as best possible in such a small cottage. Whites, neutrals, quality bedding, tea service too!

I cannot recommend this place more. My mom said it was one of the best she's been to.

My husband and I stayed at Twentyfourshorehead on the 10th of March. It was recommended by one of my travel guides and we called while on the road and were able to get a room. Anne Hawkes was very friendly and led us to our room on the first floor. The house has been refurbished and the room was really nice. The bed was soft and comfy and we had everything we need for a nights stay. One of the best things about the room was it overlooks the harbour and the room had a pair of binoculars so you could look out to sea or watch the tide come in. The breakfast was delicious and Anne cooks in the same room so she could talk with us. We had a little treat when three ducks came up to the floor length dining room windows looking for a snack!
