Went there recently for a out of town bite and delighted that the Marine can still deliver great quality at very reasonable prices. Extensive beers (if you are a Trappist lover) and Whisky list with ales local ales on tap. The food was very nice and the salmon chowder served in a bread basket was brilliant...i could only have that actually!!! Would be back soon.

As a local we eat at the marine on a regular basis. Over the past few months the food has consistently been above par! Good service, good menu selection and fair price. We travel nationally regularly and still love coming back to the marine.

This is a lovely cosy spot and right on the old harbour. You can eat in the bar or upstairs. The staff were friendly and the food was tasty. My friend had Mussel and crayfish linguini which was tasty but a bit too creamy for his liking. The starters could have a little bit bigger. Overall a pleasant evening. Try the Belgian beers and the local (6 degrees north) brewery beer.

As a local, we have eaten at the marine on a number of occasions. And this time did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the service attentive but not overly so. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning.

My father and I dined here at the restaurant on the first floor. The restaurant was lovely and warm on a miserably wet and cold night and it was very welcoming.

The staff are delightfully efficient and given the enormous selection of beers, a tasting glass was a great idea.

My father had a prawn and mussel linguine, and I had the blue cheese risotto starter and the lobster/crayfish main.

We both enjoyed our meals as well as the whole dining experience.

This is a waterfront venue, which looks directly out onto the harbour, with all it's little boats and trawlers. It's a very picturesque scene.

We both enjoyed ourselves immensely here.
