Breakfast is quite ok. And if you are there by car, the hotel is in nice and quiet area.

They have internet where you have to type in a code you get at the reception every 24 hours. It doesn't work that well and I don't understand why you have to type in the code when there is nothing around the hotel so no one could really steal the wifi.

When it was raining outside we couldn't have our windows open, because the staff came and explain in Dutch that we should close the windows.

Also there is no AC and it can be quite hot.

A good quality hotel in a very, very quiet location.., near a very nice small town.
Good service, good facilities, and a good restaurant.
Free parking, Free wifi.
Good value for money.
A hotel for either couples retreat, or business

Room Tip: Difficult to find without a sat-nav.., in middle of woods down a small lane

Lovely hotel set in parkland in the leafy suburbs of Nijmegen. Four star public areas including bars, terrace, reception and restaurant. The rooms are four star in size and facility, but a little tired in places, as were the corridors. Wonderful views and great value for money.
Pleasant staff who assisted our journeys into and out of Nijmegen centre, which is approx 3 miles away, served by a good 20 min bus route, the stop being a 150m walk from reception. Offered value bicycle hire, (the local fascination), altogether a healthy environment, with alcoholic drinks and food reasonably priced for the not so healthy.

Room Tip: If you like woodland walks around your hotel without being away from civilisation, you couldn't choose better!

We have been there now two times and each time we are surprised about the fact that the personell in this hotel do not really treat their guests as guests. We are only necessary for getting an income. The location is great, the hotelrooms are good, but asking for a drink in the bar or wanting service on the terrace with the beautifull views is clearly an effort. We had dinner nearby at a small restaurant called Tante Koosje and there you can have a great dinner and feel a very friendly atmosphere.

I booked this hotel on hotels.com. The blurb says that all rooms have tub and shower and flat-screen tv with cable. They don't. The public areas are well maintained and modern. But my room was like something from the early seventies, shabby and dim. The hotel seems to want to come across as world-class but even for the very small menu there is no English translation. And it's a good walk on unlit roads with no footpath if you want to visit the nearest restaurants in Beek. The only upsides are that the staff are friendly, the breakfast was ok and the often-empty bar is beautiful.
