We have just returned yesterday from our long awaited 10 day, Fiji trip. We travelled in a group of 8, 3 adults & 5 children. It took us a few days to unwind & settle into "Fiji Time" but it was well worth it. The words "Fiji time" are now forever in our vocabulary. We had an Ocean view room on the 3rd floor which was exactly as described with amazing views of the ocean overlooking the pool area. Although the room was a little cramped & the bathroom did smell a little, it didn't take anything away from our stay. The kids had an amazing time with the boys from the beach office. CK, Ben, Major, Nathan, Napoleon & Zack should be awarded & commended for their enthusiasm, knowledge & committment to providing each child with the best holiday they can possible have. They knew each and every childs name & never failed to include them, make them feel safe & comfortable, & feel like they were a part of the family. The saddest part of our holiday was leaving these guys who really had become friends to us. We had the meal package, which was good. Pool bar lunches were great, Bula Brasserie could use a bit more variety, breakfast was great. Would return again soon.

I stayed at this resort for a week for a wedding. There was quite a large party for the wedding & the only thing that really went wrong was an overbooking when the party first arrived. Several guests stayed in the sister resort down the road the first night as there was not enough rooms for everyone despite having booked this well in advance.
Luckily, myself & traveling partner were accommodated although, we had to move rooms again a day later.
I found all the staff really friendly & helpful & the rooms were clean & tidy. I would steer clear of the banquet type food they do each night, my pick would be the Italian restaurant, the food was really lovely. The breakfast is ample & there is heaps to choose from. Internet access is available in the foyer, I had a massage at the spa & it was really good!
Overall an enjoyable experience & I would recommend the resort.

I have to say the resort is beautiful and we had the most amazing holiday apart from our room which was definitely NOT 5 star. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling and the pillows and bed stank of mould. Even when the sheets were changed they still smelt. However up the hallway they were updating and decorating the rooms but obviously hadn't got to ours yet. I would suggest asking for a redecorated room. We had a garden view which I chose because of the recommendations on trip advisor which was OK apart from looking onto a bed of weeds and the outside light not working. I would definitely go back but next time I would choose a sea view. There were other garden rooms where the outlook was better. Apart from that the location was amazing right on the beach and the rest of the hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was great. We had breakfast included so ate a big meal from the buffet each morning which lasted us until our evening meal. The best meal we had was in the Japanese restaurant. The prices were on par with Australia and we were pleasantly surprised by our bill at the end of our stay as we charged all our meals and drinks to our room. Being school holidays we payed a lot of money to stay there for a week so a 5 star room to go with the 5 star hotel would have been nice.
