Sous les Canniers

There are 4 stand-alone rooms at this idyllic countryside place in the Vaucluse area of Provence. Lush vegetation all around tended beautifully by the owners. There's a "summer kitchen" if you want to cook, and Monika and Charley keep wine on hand as well. Our room was lovely, and Monika's breakfasts in the gorgeous glassed in breakfast area were generous and delicious. Great access to Gordes, Rousillon, and much much more. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

If you want a really relaxing experience in the French Luberon region, and you are a gardening fan, this is THE place to go..
This is a Bed & Breakfast held by a German couple who are pure nature lovers. They decorated the garden in a fantastic way. There must be about 300 different plant species arranged in old baskets, sinks, decorating the hilly parts around the large swimming pool and everywhere else.
The rooms are situated in several small Provence-like houses and - above being very clean - they have been very well conceived. Sunset is very romantic.
For the relaxing experience of their customers, the owners are not really fond of people bringing along children, on the other hand, if you don't want kids splashing around you in the pool, this can be an advantage..
No wifi, but then the owners argue one should not come there to worry or work... quite an "état d'esprit", have these Germans become French a little?

Nice room in very quiet surroundings deep in the Vaucluse. Unfortunately the general vibe is one where you seem to be intruding on the owners privacy (they would pointedly march off if you dared to use the pool)
Spent most of the time tidying up after ourselves such was our fear of imposing - even though nightly rate is same as 4* hotel.
Following an accident where some glass got broken in their outside kitchen we then had to endure endless correspondence from them threatening legal action if we did not pay for it - apparently dont seem to have business insurance.
Oh & v Germanic breakfasts - all a bit odd really. Save yourselves the grief and stay in a proper hotel where you are not seen just as a walking wallet to be tolerated.
