30-something couple looked at the menu from the street and the decor inside and decided to eat dinner here in Jan. 2014. We were not disappointed. We sat at the bar and watched the people walk by through the bar's window, which made it like we were people-watching on a big-screen TV. The food was some of the best we had in Puerto Rico -- amazing hummus with roasted vegetables, tuna tartar, caprese salad, and burger with gouda. The bartender -- who the waiter said was the best in Boqueron, and that might be a true claim after sampling his work -- made delicious drinks to order and even gave us a taste of the local moonshine (called chichaito, like sambuca with some added spices). He also offered an impressive collection of bottled beers from around the world. We had a wonderful experience here and look forward to coming back again. Recommended.

This is my first visit to Boqueron, PR. A good friend winters here, she raved bout this local beachside restaurant. Chef/owner JuanMi made our wonderful dishes. We started with the Tuna tartar .. Savory, fresh and I would have loved to have more! My main dish was the special of the evening, yellowtail snapper lightly pan fried. With local root vegetables and fried rice! OMG the flavors were delish! Sitting outside you get the local ambiance, right on the main one lane street, across from the Caribbean. Just Lovely!

Very hard to get into this place, very small. Food was delicious and a bit expensive but not bad. Make a reservation.

I don't know why the reviewers admire this restaurant except the view. The view is wonderful. That's why 8 of us went there to celebrate our last night get-together in Boqueron. I think the worst experience in the restaurants is always caused by the workers there. This place was the same.
The menu was limited and not really amazing. very expensive than others restaurant around with same food. very young ''bartender'' who dont knows how to do cocktails.
several hours waiting for a table and our food came another hour later.
restaurants there around the corner are family business with good vibe, cheap, local and fresh food.
poor and cold food for the expensive ($$$$$) we paid. NO dessert on the menu.
the owner is a person who is not pleasant or nice. he did nothing to assist us better.
is not business work just for money. they dnt have any idea how to deal with customers
If you were my friend, I'd tell you to stay away!

We appreciate your comments even though they are not the best. We sincerely apologize that your experience was not that of our regular customers. It sometimes is very difficult to please all our guests especially during the high season where we get overhauled with both local and foreign tourists, and understand that the experience is sometimes not the best.

We have been open now for several years and have several repeat customers that have been coming since we were opened and they can attest to our quality, and as you mentioned it appears from our reviews that we do seem to please most all that come our way, but with the most sincere respect I must say, no one is perfect and we are no exception.

So, we do hope that you give us another opportunity in the future to have a more pleasant experience with us.

Regards,

Juan Miguel Muñoz
Chef/Owner
