“Yummy......The name fits!”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We have been to Yummy Pizza probably 10-12 times over the past year. The atmosphere is quite nice away from the busy Canal road. It is hard to locate but worth the search. You can sit indoors with A/C or outside. Tony the owner is a delightful person who does his best to give you a dining experience you will enjoy.
The pizza is excellent and the other offerings are also very good. If you are there Wednesday nights around 7pm you will experience Tony's music ability which is delightful. His past career before running a restaurant was a musician.
Do your self a favour and go give Yummy Pizza a try if you are in Chiang Mai and hungry.

“Great Family Restaurant”
Reviewed March 20, 2013

Yummy Restaurant is not the easiest place to find - along the Canal Road on the outskirts of Chiang Mai - but it's worth searching for. We did not know what to expect, but were bowled over by the relaxed, country atmosphere and the attentive service. The food was excellent. I had a small pizza (don't order the large without checking the size!!) while my companions both had fish and chips. All of us were impressed. The owner, a friendly chap with an Australian accent, struck the right note of being attentive without being overbearing. We visited at night - but be aware this is not a light-night haunt. It does stay open until later, but its best to get in and out by 9.30pm.

“Excellent pasta in a delightful setting”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Last night was only our 2nd visit and I look forward to the next! As with all good restaurants one has to try different dishes and establish like and dislikes as there are so many recipes and cooking styles, one dish may not appeal .. where another excels.

Somewhat of a misnomer, Yummy Pizza also serve delightful pasta, steak, salmon, chicken and salads. We are not a fan of the slightly over-cheesy pizzas, bit more flavour in the base sauce and more toppings required! But that's a personal observation.

This time we had lasagne - superb! And ricotta/spinach ravioli in creamy sauce - excellent ... would rate as superb with a little more sauce added.

Both visits have been on the busy Wednesday (music) night, with a limited menu, and sitting outside is quite delightful. Best to book ahead for Wednesday! Indoor a/c seating is also available.

Host Tony, an excellent Muso himself, circulates to ensure service is up to scratch despite having very attentive, friendly staff.

The entrance to Yummy Pizza is off Canal Rd, 900m south of Mae Hia Market, and easily missed. Here's a map/GPS link: http://wikimapia.org/#lat=18.7418417&lon=98.9380968&z=18&l=0&m=b

“Yummy garlic and pepper prawns”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Visited Chiang Mai this month, and after tasting their garlic and pepper prawn starter, I went back and had them again - asked for two starters on one plate. Absolutely terrific. Also a really good salad to go with the prawns. The restaurant itself is in a really pretty setting. The waitrons are very pleasant and efficient, as most Thai folk are. I will definitely visit Yummy Pizza on my next visits to Chiang Mai.
