The chicken wing starter was lovely, very tasty. I wish I'd bought some to take home too now. The Chicken in parmesan sauce was devine. The home made bread was perfect. Well done to the chef! In fact, all the food we had tasted good and was presented very nicely.
The service was brilliant! The waitress was very attentive and friendly. We received all our food in good time, and were offered a jug of water at the beginning of the meal when the drinks we ordered arrived too.
The table and cutlery were clean and the prices were reasonable, we will definitly be back to this restaurant.
The King Prawn starter only had three and a half prawns in it, 6 would have been more fitting to go with the salad provided.
The restaurant was a bit dusty.
The restaurant! The walls were tatty and in desperate need of a repaint. The floor (lovely boards) needed sanding and refinishing to bring it back to life. The tables and chairs needed throwing out, preferably getting some nice wooden tables (rustic) to replace them.
The toilets needed attention, shame the revellers the night before damaged them so much (the waitress told us they had been ok before this). A good clean and revamp is needed in there too.
All in all, a lovely dining experience, but I hope the owner completes the anticipated revamp very soon. It would be a good idea to keep the colourscheme (love the terracotta/yellow/orange theme), but keep the restaurant seperate from the bar/party area so it doesn't get damaged by clubbers who seem to be there until 1am making a mess of the place. Hope the owner dusts off the curtain poles and puts some nice suitable curtains on them too.
Well done and thank you to the chef and waitress. Hope the owner steps up his game to make this place a total pleasure.
