RVCP Chapel is the only remaining building from this magnificent hospital serving warwounded for many years.. Now its contents relive some of those memories and you can climb the tower with a tourguide to see the view from near the top. Well worth a visit.

We visited this lovely chapel on the occasion of a pumpkin festival in aid of youth training tall ships. The history of the place is very interesting and it is a shame that only the chapel remains.

The RVCP is set in a very scenic area - especially if you like water. The view is slightly spoiled by Fawley oil refinery across the water, but even that has a certain attractiveness in the right light! The chapel is very imposing and can be seen from quite a way off - especially from the Isle of Wight or the Hythe ferries. Unfortunately, when I went it was closed so I couldn't go inside but the outside is a fine example of Victorian architecture.
