“Great Little cafe”
Reviewed June 18, 2014 via mobile

We have visited on a few occasions and never been disappointed. The cream tea is fabulous, you must try it! Full English breakfast is also delicious and very filling. A great little place not to be missed

“Excellent first visit”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

I went with my daughter and a friend for Sunday lunch, intending to have the recommended roast. On arrival, I was amazed at the extensive menu choices, plus they have a specials board, which had yet more lovely choices. I had quite a problem trying to decide as everything sounded really nice. Between us, we had a chicken roast, eggs benedict, and liver and bacon. All three meals were beautifully cooked, piping hot and absolutely delicious. We had to wait a while as it is all cooked to order, but that wasn't a problem, as we knew it was all freshly made. The meals were huge, so had no room for any of the vast range of cakes or desserts, so we bought some cakes to take home, which again were all delicious. Everything is home made by the two lovely ladies who are efficient and friendly despite being so busy. Great food, good value for money and well worth a visit.

“One of the nicest tea rooms we've been to”
Reviewed May 5, 2014

Possibly the best chips I've ever had... fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside (fried twice apparently). Cream tea was lovely and the clotted cream generous. Jam was good quality and fruit scone delicious. We weren't expecting to visit a tea shop so had some salad with us. They were more than happy for us to eat it with our chips when we asked. The only downside was we waiting a while for the food to arrive but they were busy and we didn't mind. This was a beacon of happiness after a disasterous mechanical bike fail shortened our day out.

“Delightful Sunday Lunch”
Reviewed February 9, 2014

It is always delightful to come here, with freshly prepared meals, and an omelette is really worth having. Our teenagers prefer this to MacDonalds.
