Ranked #4 of 6 Amberley B&B and Inns

Woodybanks, set in picturesque surroundings in Amberley village, is an excellent B & B, with helpful, friendly hosts who made us feel welcome the moment we stepped inside. The rooms, double or twin, are very comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped. Guests have a lovely private bathroom and also private use of a spacious downstairs sitting room with beautiful views of both the garden and the surrounding countryside. Breakfasts are prepared and cooked to a high standard with an ample choice of food. All in all, a delightful place to stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending Woodybanks.

Set in the picturesque village of Amberley, in the beautiful West Sussex countryside, "Woodybanks" is a haven of peace and tranquility.
Extremely caring hosts, freshly cooked breakfasts and attractive bedrooms make this an ideal place to stay. Also very convenient for all events at Goodwood and within easy reach of the coast. Look no further!

Excellent B & B. Warm and friendly hosts. Choice of twin or double room. Amazingly fantastic views of downs. Own private sitting/breakfast room. Immaculate throughout. Grounds are amazing with plenty of seating areas to view the downs and watch the sunset. Excellent food. Great choices and all cooked to order, so please allow time to be cooked it is well worth the wait. Jackie and Graham are amazing hosts, nothing is too much trouble, if it can be done, no matter how big or small they will find a way to do it for you. They have an excellent knowledge of the area and its provisions and have tried and tested many attractions, so if you stuck for something to do they can recommend something for you to have a look at. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Room Tip: Twin room has views over looking the Downs and sunset !!

I stayed here whilst walking the South Downs Way the B & B is next door to the Sportsman pub The room was comfortable and clean with great views and although the bathroom was meant to be shared, I didn't notice any other guests. The couple running it were very friendly and went out of their way to making sure all was well with my stay. Very easy to recommend.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay both inside and out. Lovely food, lovely rooms plus your own sitting room, fabulous views outside and wonderful hosts, Jackie and Graham. Have been several times, would always go back, cannot recommend enough for a B & B, a home from home.

Room Tip: has a double and a twin room, fabulous for a couple and their children or friends

We stayed here while cycling the South Downs Way, it's just over a mile off the trail. Ours hosts were very friendly and helpful, but at the same time gave us our own space and never intruded. We were able to leave our bikes in their garage, which was very useful.

I think the two B&B rooms share a bathroom, but we were the only ones staying, so we had it to ourselves. Very well equipped, even including our own lounge to use downstairs, with stunning views out of the window. Breakfast was brilliant, really good food.

Only thing missing was wifi internet, but we were able to use BTFON wifi in the area, and had a good phone signal.

Location was very good, with the excellent Sportsman pub right next door.

Room Tip: There's a double and a twin room to choose from.
