We had a family lunch to celebrate our grand-daughters 21st yesterday. It was agreed by all of us that the food was excellent and the service, friendliness and attention to detail was first class. Well worth a visit.

We spent three nights dinner bed and breakfast. A pleasant room with three windows, rather dated English decor. The small bathroom had a carpeted floor which I never like. Wifi was free. One is given a menu in the bar which you peruse as you order drinks. You place your meal order and then go to the table when dinner is ready. One night we had a 7.00 pm reservation but did not get seated until 7.45. The average age was most definitely, with the exception on a three generation family with well behaved children, was elderly. The only noise was made on two nights by a rather loud MaitreD' whose manner was a huge contrast to the charming waiters and waitresses. The food was excellent very good value and a varied menu with vegetarian options.
Despite the rain we managed to walk in the gardens, lovely. The location was perfect and parking was available.

Room Tip: I had asked for a garden view, all three windows looked over the garden. There are one staircase to...

We spent last weekend here and thought it was a charming hotel in a peaceful setting. All the staff were helpful and provided a very good service. The food in the resturant was fantastic and we had a great choice for breakfast which was cooked to order. I have given 4 stars as I did not find the bed comfortable which is very important to me.

Visited The Millstream this week to have dinner with friends who were staying there. We do this every year. The food was superb as usual. Service excellent. Coffee served in lounge with petits fours. Lovely atmosphere and a relaxing evening. Hope to visit again next year.

Had a great stay at this lovely hotel - for the second time! Always impressed by the attention to detail - complimentary glass of wine on arrival / free newspaper / fresh milk in fridge etc. Restaurant is also excellent!

Room Tip: It is situated in a very quiet residential area and so all rooms should be quiet (as long as other g...

We stayed at the Millstream for two nights over Easter. I chose this hotel after reading the good reviews on Tripadvisor. Our rooms were spacious and clean (we had a twin room and a single room). All the staff were kind and helpful. We had dinner in the brasserie, which was excellent. Bosham is a lovely small village and there are plenty of things to do within a short drive - we went to Fishbourne Roman Villa (10 minutes in the car), Arundel Castle (half an hour) and had several walks on the lovely beach at West Wittering. We hope to return.

Just spent Good Friday night at this hotel, we had twin room on first floor, the room was a good size as was the bathroom ( room 22) , nice and warm as well. beds both very comfortable. The room was immaculate and the little extras were much appreciated. Mineral water, FRESH MILK and lovely Yorkshire Tea bags. Complimentary glass of wine on arrival much appreciated after day house hunting in the area. Dined in main restaurant and food and wine very nice. Excellent service and friendly staff. Slept well as area very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely recommend for a quiet break. Chichester nearby for a little exploring, and short drive to coast for lovely walks.

Room Tip: Always book a twin or king size bedroom
