My wife and I have been visiting The Millstream for many years and really enjoy our stays. The hotel is perfectly situated offering lovely walks by the sea at Bosham and yet within easy reach of Chichester and Portsmouth.
The staff are very efficient and extremely attentive. We always receive a warm welcome and a genuine friendliness from everyone. The General Manager and Head Waiter lead by example - they work very hard to ensure that high standards are maintained and each visitor feels valued and looked after.
The food is of a very high standard. The dinner menus change regularly and offer a delightful range of dishes. A meal at The Millstream never disappoints!
We stayed in one of the cottages which offered excellent accommodation and had just been tastefully refurbished.
We will definitely be back!

Went for a family get-together to celebrate my mother-in-law's 80th birthday. We chose the Millstream because it's close to where my parents-in-law live and it meant that while the 4 of us could stay there, the raminder of the family could come along just for the evening. We did the same a couple of years ago for my in-law's 50th wedding anniversary. It all went very well. The hotel is very comfortable and accomodating and my mother-in-law really enjoyed the touch of luxury.
The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and have everything you'd expect. One small downside, the decor is beginning to look a little tired and dated.
With 15 of us dining we had to chose our meals in advance. This worked very well and they were accomodating about making small changes. The food was good for the UK. Breakfast was excellent.
All-in-all, it's what you'd expect from the website, not the most exciting little hotel, but far from the worst.

Millstream Hotel Bosham is such a lovely hotel.

The rooms are just right, with lots of little extras, - daily fresh milk and sparkling and natural bottled water, and even a copy of the Radio Times.
But the real highlight of this hotel is the superb candlelit dinner. A great menu choice each night and the food is excellent.

The location is superb, set in the lovely harbour village of Bosham near Chichester, providing a lovely after breakfast along the harbour.

My wife and I have stayed in many hotels around the world in the last 30 years, (at this one at least a dozen times) and we would very much agree that this hotel's 3 stars do not do it justice. Some 4 and 5 star establishments we have stayed in could learn a lot from the Millstream. The rooms are not large but are well-equipped; the location is excellent; and we have no quibbles with the restaurant, or the staff. Being used to London prices, we think the food is priced very reasonably for the quality and service shown. If a preponderance of senior citizen guests is something you can't stand, go elsewhere (although don't expect anything remotely as good as the Millstream in the Chichester area); if that's not a problem, you will almost certainly enjoy your sstay.

I ama regular, but infrequent, traveller to this part of the country, and have almost always been disappointed by the hotels in the area. The Millstream was a very welcome change. It is a gem of a hotel, friendly staff, good food, excellent service, and a comfortable bed in an elegant room. What more can you ask for.

Being offered a glass of complimentary wine on check-in is a nice touch, and indicative of the care that he staff take to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
