Just returned home after a short break in Vincennes, staying at the Royal Regency. My wife and I had been before, but this time took our family including two grandchildren aged 5 and 16, and hoped they would enjoy the Terminus as much as we had done. We were not disappointed, the waiter was brilliant attending to everyone, especially our grandson who has a serious food allergy. There was something on the menu for everyone, including a choosy 16 year old young woman. The menu of the day was especially good value at 16 euros. There is nothing special about the cuisine, its straightforward French home cooking, but good value.
The two things which add to the attraction are, its proximity to the Metro Station, and Happy Hour (which lasts for about 5 hours!). After a day sightseeing in Paris, or riding the rollercoasters at Disneyland, everyone looked forward to cocktails or a beer at the Terminus. It is a busy place frequented mainly by locals, but with a great welcome for tourists, especially if you try and speak some French first.
