Plataran at Borobudur is like paradise. The people are amazing great customer always first approach. I went every year since 2016 and this year I will go twice. Great villas great SPA amazing location wonderful staff. A must have experience to stay there whilst visiting Borobudur which can be seen from Plataran.

This amazing resort gets a 12 out of 10! Beautiful setting, fantastic staff, wonderful food! Attention is paid to every detail. Warm and inviting Staff expertly trained. Highly recommend...Best resort near Borobudur by far! Gen Mgr Vivek is accomodating in every way and has clearly trained his warm and inviting staff to make each guest feel special.

3. Facilities and grounds were absolutely stunning
4. Resort excels at creating a feeling of cultural tranquility
5. Cooking class customised to our very specific request

7. Tour of Borobudur Temple was first class-the resort arranged viewing times outside the crowds
8. Trekking outing to Hindu temple & rice terraces was enchanting
9. Spa services were wonderful
10. Local market visit was great fun
We have traveled every country in Asia and found thIs resort one of the very best in every category. We highly recommend it. Give yourself 1 day for viewing the temples, a second for the local market & trekking, a third for the biking adventure & spa and a 4th to lay around your villa pool and relax or have a cooking lesson.

We had the best experience at Plataran Borobudur. The staff was over the top accommodating. Pak Vivek was the most professional and gracious manager. Ibu Ajeng helped us in so many ways. The food was some of the best Indonesian I have had (and I lived in the country 4 years). The resort was quiet. Exceptionally placed in the mountains with a view of the temple. Tours and other arrangements done through the resort were very well done. Can't say enough good things about the resort and staff. The rooms we quaint, and felt authentic, while still being perfect and spacious.

I stayed 2 nights in Grand Spa Pool villa and it was amazing! there's private spa inside, beautiful pool, comfy bed, entertaiment and shower. i'm enjoying every single activites here!! The staff is amazing, we have everything we need. It was a very enjoyable experience. Clean with beautiful mix culture design and garden ♥️♥️

Me and a friend of mine went there to enjoy the weekend, and truly the staffs gave us an amazing experience, everyone is so welcoming and polite and very friendly. They will greet you every time they see you, lots of five stars hotel can provide you with great interior and facilities, but none of them provide this one of kind service, we stayed at the grand spa pool village, and everything is squeaky clean, well designed (especially with the mix of the local culture), i would give more than 5 stars if i can.
