“Comfy bed, but...”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

Stayed during Lebaran in 2 deluxe rooms as we're family of 5. When we arrived at the hotel, we asked about room rates, it was quite cheap and thought that it was a budget hotel. We were asking whether they had 2 deluxe room next to each other, one kingbed and the other one twin one, the male receptionist said 'yes we have'. It was 275000 rups for one room one night. When we were shown the room number, I was surprised that it wasn't room next to each other. The I strongly ask the replacement room next to each other, the receptionist said, no room king and twin next to each other. Finally we had to accept king and king next to each other.

The room rate didnt include breakfast, which was 25000 rups per person, again quite cheap!!
When the receptionist asked for deposit, I told them that I will pay direct upon check in, the room rates for 2 deluxe plus the breakfast for 4 pax and 1 infant. When I showed them my credit card, they said that there will be additional of 2.5% credit card fee!!!!! Doesn't make sense!! Adding 2.5% for credit card charge is strictly not allowed as Bank Policy..
However, had no choice but to pay the bill by credit card as i didn't bring enough cash.

Went to the rooms, it was a modern minimalist style room, look everything was new, clean, tidy and comfortable. Full minibar set up, big screen TV..the bed was comfortable, but sofa in the corner of window was a wastage as you cant sit on it. Small open wardrobe and the window was facing to the lobby, not outside.

Check out was smooth, had to wait for 20 minutes for minibar checker check the minibar, had to bring all luggage by our self on check in and check out which was terrible.

The good thing was they have car washer who wash our car without being instructed. He's kind and friendly.

Yes it is a budget hotel, where we can"t expect higher when we pay lower.

The rate is very cheap. If you checked-in outside the high season, the standard room only costs you below Rp 200.000 per night. If I'm not mistaken, its Junior Suite only costs you below Rp 400.000 (with bath tub).

However, since I slept there during Eid al-Fitr festivity day, the standard room rate increased to Rp 335.000 per night (without breakfast). Breakfast charge was Rp 25.000 per person but with very limited menu.

Our room # 210 was modernly-designed, has LCD TV, air-con and hot water well-functioned, however it has NO WINDOW at all (just like prison!).
The room wall made of gypsum, no wonder you can hear noises from the surrounding. Please pay attention to its bed sheet with many stains and bath towel with blood shed marks. The amenities will be charged every single item just like AirAsia Tune Hotels (there is a price list in its bathroom - you can buy condom for Rp 6.500 only :-).

You will only received 1 (one) key room card and the receptionist will retain your ID Card during your stay. If you bring your car, the hotel staff will wash it by the morning.

This hotel is budget hotel - cheap with limited facility and service. But in my last stay, they made a positive progress. Now we can access free wifi internet from our room, the canteen is open for 24 hours, we can find a mini market in the hotel and the check out process is faster- only take about 5 minutes. But still, the breakfast menu is very very limited.

Room Tip: ask room in new building, unless you like to sleep in gypsum room

First of all, the rate was very cheap compared with other hotel that I stayed before.
Check-in procedure was kinda slow, but the room was okay from my opinion.

The downside which I don't like was :
- Bathroom was too small
- Lots of noise could be heard from the room, I guess probably because the hotel was doing some renovation.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel to friends / relative if they visit purwokerto.

This hotel is not in Cilacap but in Purwokerto (about 50 kilos to the north from Cilacap).
The price of this hotel is cheap, so you know what kind of services you will get :). Do not expect too much, because this hotel is suitable for people who need only room for sleeping.

You must be patient when checking out, you must wait when the hotel must check your room for about 10 - 15 minutes. No internet access, no 24 room service, the canteen is open only to 22pm. You must pay for a limited breakfast menu.

I suggest you to ask room in new building. The wall isn't gypsum anymore :) If you walk outside the hotel about 5 - 10 minutes, you will find pizza restaurant.

This town is not a nowhere near a tourist belt, nor is it a major (or even a minor) commercial hub. The hotel selection reflects accordingly.

Small rooms. Had the misfortune to get a room on the inside i.e. your small window opens to the corridor, not to the outside. Every wall is gypsum board, even for the bath! I was shared a wall with 3 other rooms. If any of the occupants tapped lightly on the adjoining wall, I would hear it clearly. The cleaners keep their equipment 2 doors down from my room. Every time one of them leaned a broom against the wall, I tohugh someone wa knocking on my door.

Basic shop and cafe on ground floor. No aircon or fans, so can be quite warm even at night.

2 complimentary bottles of water each day. No internet access. Nearest cybercafe is 2 km away: exit hotel, head left. Walk to junction at the end of street and turn left. Small cybercafe is on the left a few hundred metres down, across the street from the local university.

Pizza joint just down the road: exit hotel, turn right, about 500m down at junction.
