We were simply delighted with the quality of fresh ingredients, the perfection of the cooking and the very friendly service.

Between the Three of us, we had the grilled prawns for starters - the aroma of the dish was superb with a mix of citrus and grilled prawn, these were just delicious and perfectly cooked, they were served with a mouthwatering guacamole that is completely home made.
Main courses were a succulent sirloin steak, cooked to perfection and complimented with garlic roast potatoes and a devine house special sauce. The Beef Stroganoff was made with succulent fillet steak and very tasty mushrooms, and served with wild rice - it had a superb contrast between the nutty flavour of the rice and the delicious sauce.
For dessert we all had fresh pineapple beautifully fresh and stunningly presented.

Needles to say everything was homemade from the Ali oilie to the veg. And you could tell by the flavour.

Just as a footnote - we had the house Red, which was really superb!

Great value and really first class, we will be back, and I'd really recommend Dea to anyone looking for great food in Albir.

My husband and I visited the restaurant twice on a recent trip to Albir. We popped in first for a drink to have a look and decided to go back and eat. I am glad we made the effort. On both visits we opted for the Menu del Noche, for no other reason than the choices were good and it also offered great value for money. That said we did eat the 'upgraded' version. My starter of smoked salmon and spinach roulade was fab followed by a lovely turbot filet. Hubby tried the goats cheese starter and followed this with pork tenderloin with blue cheese sauce. The pork was pink and perfect, melt in your mouth.

There were a good choice of desserts, I tried the chocolate brownie and whilst it was tasty and did the job wasn't a true gooey brownie.

On our second visit the restaurant was busier and we thought that the service might suffer as a result. We needn't have worried, even though the guy was on his own he was attentive and our food came at the right speed, This is not a place to get in eat and get out in record time, if you want that there are plenty of choices. This is a leisurely dining experience where you can take you time choosing, eating and generally having a relaxed time. The food was just as good on the 2nd visit, this time I picked a better dessert - home made pear and chocolate tart! lovely, decadent and everything a good dessert should be.

Loved it hope they keep on doing what they are doing!

overall a very enjoyable evening with great food and drinks, service was slow but worth the wait and the wine choice was very good. The menu will suit all of the family and starters are really great. We did not have a desert as the starters and mains where so good

I agree with the last reviewer and would add that this is a friendly Spanish-run restaurant, which appears to be something of a rarity in Albir, that has a great 'Menu del Dia'. You can have this in the evening unlike some other places. The food is great for what you pay and if you want to spend more, the 'A la Carte' looks interesting too.
