After a being out in the bush on with a medical clinic this was the perfect place to come back to for creature comforts, good food and personal attention from the owners, Pam and Rory . Everything is clean and the surroundings peaceful- a great place to relax and reflect.Thank you both for providing a wonderful end to my trip.

I stayed 2 nights at this lodge, which had been booked by the company that arranged my safari tour.
I was completely blown away by this place. It only has a few chalets (14?) so you really do get personal service.
As I said, you get a chalet. I was staying on my own. the first night I had a huge bed and when I returned 3 nights later, I had a room with 2 very large 'single' beds.
The layout of the room is beautiful, with a massive walk-in shower, with more hot water than you will ever need.
A complete canopy of mosquito nets ensures you get a great nights sleep - though I didn't see a single mosquito whilst I was there at the end of June, beginning of July.
The food was the best I had in 23 days of being in Tanzania. Delicious, healthy food, with the chance of second helpings. 3 courses for dinner. There were only 5 guets the first morning for breakfast, so our full English breakfast was cooked to order. The 2nd morning the lodge was quite full, but the buffet breakfast was the best I've ever had, because the food was fresh and hot, despite going down to eat an hour after they started serving breakfast. irish sods bread toast, fluffy scotch pancakes, real pork sausages and bacon. Fresh fruit. Freshly blended fruit juice. The rhubarb crumble and custard was the best I've ever tasted, and the home-made chocolate truffles were a chocoholics dream come true!
Lovely big bar area serving Guinness and more importantly, cold local beers Kilimanjaro and Serengeti.
Very very friendly staff with hands-on owner, all of whom would do anything for you to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
Conveniently located for Ngorogoro Crater.
