Hotel Asia Fergana
Ranked #1 of 6 Fergana B&B and Inns

My husband and I spent three nights there and the Asia Fergana and it was just fine. We had a large room in the new wing and when we requested padding for the hard mattresses, housekeeping accommodated us immediately and refused a tip!! The staff was delightfully helpful and friendly and I enjoyed the location that allowed us to walk into town to restaurants and to check out the city. We ate breakfast and a dinner in the attached restaurant, which was decent by Uzbek standards (you don't go to Uzbekistan for the food) and again, the staff was delightful. There is wifi in both the new and old wing lobbies that worked beautifully whenever I tried. The hotel is very clean but there was an odor from the plumbing that was bothersome. We found that keeping the bathroom door closed and the fan running solved that.

Room Tip: Ask for one in the new wing and if your bed is too hard, housekeeping will cover the beds with paddi...

The room is basic but good and cleen. There is WiFi in common area. The breakfast is on the average even if it could be better. Our room was in the second building at low ground far from the reception and it was quite.

It is nothing to d=say good about this hotel there is no management. They have charged 90 dollars for theRoom Single Bed , it doesn't worth that money , better stay in 777 hotel which is two time cheaper and better quality we went there on the next day.
The Bathroom terrible , it is huge and very cold, and smells bad. Bed was tough.
I do not recommend this hotel, we stayed there because there was no chose, we traveled very late in the night in couldn't fine anything else.

Hotel Asia Fergana is best hotel in Fergana city, considering that other two are 777 and Taj Mahal. Recently hotel build additional building to existing infrastructure, therefore your room experience will depend in which building you will be accommodated. I staid in both of them. IN old building rooms are smaller and you can see that they been used for a while, while in new building rooms are much bigger, furniture is better and its still simply new. Thou bed mattresses are not greatly soft. Satellite TV including mostly Russian channels and few international as CNN, BBC, TV France and DWW. Room amenities includes robe, shawing kit etc. Extra pillows and blankets available in room. Rich morning buffet is served. Staff in reception is also quite competent and helpful, especially Tatyana (been there for a while). I have conducted training there once and was pleased with coffee break an lunch services provided, and their conference room was also adequate. Overall very good hotel both for tourists and business people.

Room Tip: ask for room from new building

I like the location of the hotel, one of a few overall fine hotels in Fergana city -- it's right in front of city and regional municipalities and the main street. Rooms are ok but their beds are so uncomfortable, it's like sleeping on a floor. No internet in rooms -- only in those ones that are closer to the lobby/receptionist. I'd give this hotel 3.5 out of 5.

Room Tip: If you want to have a more or less fine internet connection then ask for room #1-2 in the main buil...

This type of B&B is actually the best option to stay in Uzbekistan. You don't get too disappointed by staying at an ex-Sheraton. The rooms are clean (although old-fashioned and basic). The shower and toilet works properly! The hotel staffs aren't rude. They are actually nice. A nice cafe in the garden (simple Uzbek/Russian food. You don't expect something fancy to come out). Don't ever go to hotels built in the Soviet period without expecting horror stories. Go to these newer B&Bs and you'll be OK.

Room Tip: Request a quiet room facing the garden.

Nice enough although they really must get rid of the candy floss pink paint in the corridors! While the breakfast was great, they serve no Uzbek food at other meals and what they do have is expensive. Laundry too is very expensive so ask the rates beforehand. Very good Internet connectivity although in the lobby only.
