“Another great bed!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

The one thing that so many hotels get wrong is to expect their clients to sleep well on an inferior or hard mattress. This hotel got it right! The bed was lovely and comfortable and we definitely slept well. Not to mention the great service, the fantastic facilities and lovely food!! Very much enjoyed our stay and the price for a Sunday Sleepover was very good too.

Room Tip: We stayed in a disabled room which was very well appointed.

We appreciate the importance of a comfy bed when staying away and although this is always somewhat subjective we are satisfied that we cant so much more in this respect than we do. Thanks for your comments in relation to service and facilities, a lot of hard work goes into the hotel on a daily basis and it is nice to be rewarded with positive comments like this - its what we do it for!

Warm Regards

I had to put digit to keyboard about this marvellous place. Stayed here for a family wedding held further down the road on the weekend of the 15th June. Long story short.... arrived fairly late and we were meant to be eating elsewhere. Things changed and a table for 6 was arranged at short notice at around 9.30 pm.
The two days we stayed was just the same and nothing was too much trouble.
Seems the staff have been hand picked for their quality. Top place and would thoroughly recommend.
Haven't read other reviews yet... which I normally do first.
If you found time to complain...... get some form of life eh?

Thanks - we are pleased that we managed to look after you in style and that the team showed some flexibility in looking after you. Whilst I of course agree to some point - we do genuinely value the negative comments as much as the positive ones! all are equally important in ensuring that the expectations of our customers are met. Warm Regards

We attended a 90th Birthday Lunch at this hotel on saturday 22nd June 2013, this was our first visit to the hotel and we were very impressed. The Room was lovely, really set up well. We had a 3 course lunch and the food was really good, the staff were very polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.
The Hotel Grounds were very well kept and I imagine having a wedding at this hotel would be fantastic.
Definately recomend the hotel for a function, we didn't have a room at the hotel so can't comment on them. Would definately return at some point in the future.

My best friend and I spent the night in a junior suite which was fantastic as there was a separate living area to watch tv in rather than lounging on the beds. The beds themselves were so comfy it was a struggle to het up. We then had a spa day downstairs in the hotel which was amazing, the treatments were done with a smile, the staff were so helpful and the spa itself was beautifully decorated. In the afternoon we were treated to a delightful cream tea with all home made ingredients. It was an absolutely fabulous time and I would definitely go again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a happy and relaxed time.

We have grown the business based on the fact a hotel is about more than the bricks and mortar, it is about its staff and its culture as well. As it is this that plays more of a role in the guests experience that the choice of wallpaper does. We are really grateful for your lovely feedback and the fact you came to see us to spend time away from home. Best wishes for the Future.

Me and my husband stayed in January for his birthday and was so impressed and enjoyed ourselves we booked again for my 50th Birthday. We was joined by my Parents and Aunty and Uncle. We was pleased that they enjoyed it just as much as we did. Spa is really nice. The Aqua Massage was so relaxing my husband nearly feel a sleep. Food was beautiful and the beef was probably the best ive ever had !. The staff was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was lovely I recommend the Junior Suite, over two floors !. We are hopefully planning on returning in the near future with more of the family !

Well what can I say my self and my wife just returned from fairlawns hotel and spa, and after much deliberation on decision which spa to stay. we ended up choosing this one due to the very good reviews on trip advisor.
The staff are all so so friendly always willing to help the spa was nice the swimming pool was also nice and we really enjoyed it one of the most enjoyable things was the four course dinner the food was absolutely lovely. Definitely recommend this to any one who is not sure about going.

Room Tip: We went for a four poster bed room this was nice we manage to have a peep in another standard room t...

We are always concious that some of the great feedback we generate on TripAdvisor can create false expectation. In this case it is really pleasing to hear that we have lived up to the expectation set by previous reviewers and they are indeed going away saying the same thing. Thanks for your kind comments.

Stayed here on business for a few nights; I travel every week with work to various locations so I can honestly say this is one of the best.
Great location (lots of walking in the area if you like getting out), well-appointed and clean bedrooms and bathrooms, complimentary bottled water and biscuits (always a nice touch and seldom seen in hotels nowadays), great food in the bar which is reasonably priced and one of the best hotel gyms I've had the pleasure to visit!
Staff are all friendly and aim to please. Stay here if you are in the West Midlands!

It is especially pleasing to get feedback like this from such an experienced traveller. Business guests are a really important part of our business so the fact our product and service matched your epectations is great - hopefully see you again next time you are in the midlands for business (or leisure?).
