A group of my friends stayed here to celebrate a birthday and we had a wonderful time. The position of the resort at the end of Kata - Noi beach is perfect as it means you are away from the usually noisy and often busy roads of Phuket. The Kata-Noi beach seemed a private beach for Katathani Resort residents. Beautifully furnished rooms, immaculate grounds, a good variety of free activities and well priced restaurants and cocktails! Service was always friendly and helpful. Particularly nice was the offer to change the pillows and mattress if they were too hard or too soft. Goodness me - Goldilocks would have slept well here. I certainly did!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week of our travels to the Philippines..We found this place on the Internet and were not too sure what to expect. However, the hotel was absolutely amazing. Less than a 100yards to the beach and also a short walk into town.

The room was everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend.

Sinking a few Chang beers at the bar and watching the sun go down at sea is a must! Possibly enjoy a massage there too! The staff were all good fun and the breakfast was superb... Every fruit you could imagine and more!

We didn't eat an evening meal at the hotel as only a short walk into town with ample restaurants. Would stay here again in a heart beat!

Perfect location in Phuket, away from crowds but close enough if you want them. The hotel itself is old and run down throughout the grounds and pool areas. Part of the hotel has been renovated internally but unfortunately we were in a bhuri suite which was revolting. I've stayed in many hotels and resorts thought the world and this experience is by far the most disappointing. I worked hard for a room change but to be honest, although the room is bigger, it still smells terrible and has a depressing atmosphere. Dark, old, no bath and the toilet and shower areas are decrepit. Old pool towels. No bar service by the pool. Staff have a terrible understanding of English and just say yes to everything, not understanding what you are saying. The buffet breakfast is mediocre, no attention to detail.
The only thing going for this old run down hotel is the beach - which is gorgeous and not crowded at all. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a five star hotel, expecting luxury that's usually awarded to Asian five star accomodation.

This is an amazing resort if you are looking to spend the Honey Moon . The location is fantastic where you can relax with your spouse. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service is excellent and the staff are very helpful. Go to this hotel without confidence that you won't forget it.

This is a great location for families. We travelled to Phuket for a family reunion with members from NZ and the UK with a total party of 17 persons. It included our grandchildren and friends with children. They catered for the children exceptionally well.

We could not fault the breakfast. I am not sure how anyone cannot be happy with the selection and the quality of the food. It was great and the variety unbelievable. It catered for everyone.

The grounds are spacious and having many swimming pools dotted about you so you never seemed to be in an area where there were lots of people.

The staff could not do enough for you. I would recommend this resort to families.

Room Tip: We had a ground floor room in the Thani wing. If you are wanting a great view of the ocean, perhaps the first floor. We were exceptionally happy with the ground floor though. There are lifts available to get to the the other floor so if you have difficulties handling stairs, it is overcome by the lift.
