Made it here just in time to see the sun set over the water and it was absolutely stunning (picture included)! So worth the effort of getting there (it's not on the main roads).
The staff is extremely kind - not only to the guests, but to their resident 4-legged friends as well. There's a stray, blind dog that lives at the property that's been there for 15 years. The staff lovingly look after him. There's also a sizable lizard that comes out at dusk to dine on the mosquitoes. He's harmless and I was so charmed to see the staff not try to frighten him away.
There are considerable mosquitoes (they have bug spray for use) but the food is great, and it's well worth the effort.
