Not the easiest place to find as the signage is very low key but that sums up the Casa (just head for the church). A lovely welcome with fresh orange juice and fantastic cake. Rooms don't overlook the sea but are very close and there are lovely balconies around the Casa to enjoy the sun and have breakfast outside. Although you're staying in a family home you don't feel you're intruding as you're made to feel so welcome - you are even told to help yourselves to drinks and the cheese/fruit etc in the fridge! We were a bit out of season but still managed to find a great local restaurant (thanks to the owner's recommendation) and the coastal walks are really beautiful. We can't thank the owners enough for helping us out with a spot of car trouble - their local mechanic did a great job!

everything was perfect, the hospitality of Idalia and Antonio, the food, the room, the service, the staff, the weather, the beach.... the Fado music....
Certainly an address to visit again. We have nothing to add to all the other comments.

We stayed at Casa do Adro during our visit to Milfontes. Casa do Adro more than deserves its top ranking on TripAdvisor. In fact, Casa do Adro far exceeded all our expectations. Idalia and her staff made our trip an unforgettable one! We felt like we were right at home. Idalia was incredibly accommodating, always with a smile on her face. The B&B is well-located within Milfontes, walking distance from everything. Our room was spotless and smelled fresh and clean whenever we would return from our time on the beach. Every night we had delicious homemade cake waiting for us in our room, as well as a selection of beer, water and night caps--all included in the hotel rate. Breakfast in the morning (or at your preferred time) was incredible--the best we have ever had at a hotel. The sad day when we had to depart from Casa do Adro, Idalia and her staff packed us a lunch with homemade cake and fresh fruit. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this B&B. 5 STAR SERVICE with a homey atmosphere.

This hotel was the best we did in Portugal after the Villa Joya in Algrave. The service is amazing. It is like you are visiting your own family. When you arrive, you will find teas and a piece of cake in your rooms. You can help yourself with fruit, coffees, teas, nuts, aperitives all day long. The room is really romantic with antic wooden furniture. The bathroom is sparkling clean. This hotel is absolutely charming. The breakfast is served whenever you want on a roof terrace and is amazing (platters of fruit, fresh juices, ham, cheese, eggs, toasts, cakes, yogurts).

Bed and breakfast, and what a breakfast! (hams, cheeses, fresh juice, fresh bread, buttered toast, cakes...) served when you want it on the rooftop terrace. Cosy if a bit cramped rooms. Free wifi everywhere + a computer. Free bar and snacks all day. Clean and serious.

Guest are mature and well behaved. ie. 'free bar' does not mean Spring Break. Let's keep it that way!

We stayed in this lovely home for a week - most folks only stop an odd night - big mistake! I'd suggest 2-3 nights if you have a car. Idalia and Antonio could not have been more thoughtful. We stayed in an upstairs room with a nice balcony with excellent facilities. Breakfast is a revelation! A beautifully arranged fresh fruit platter is followed by ham, cheeses, scrambled eggs and bacon, home made jams, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee etc, best taken outside if the weather allows.
We were there bird watching, walking on the spectacular flowery coastal paths with magnificent cliffs and nesting storks (yes, on the cliff stacks!), peregrine falcons with young - oh, and a bit of painting. Returning home in the afternoon you will be greeted with home made cake and tea in your room! And if you happen to like fresh fish straight from the sea, you'll be in heaven in the local restaurants. While a smattering of Portugues is useful, the folks are so friendly that it is hardly essential.
In case you are still under nourished there is a kitchen full of goodies and a lounge with free drinks of your choice!

Room Tip: The upstairs rooms are best - and there's a lovely upstairs lounge too.

Without doubt, one of the best 'B&B's' we have stayed in in Portugal. We had a very warm welcome on arrival and were shown to a beautiful room with a terrace where we enjoyed the complimentary cake and coffee. Breakfasts were great with a huge selection of fruit, bread, cheese, homemeade jams, toast, eggs etc. The house itself was spotless and the owner and her team take great pride in providing a clean and relaxed atmosphere for their guests to enjoy.

In terms of things to do, the beaches are lovely (although I expect they would get quite busy in the summer months), there is a nice selection of restaurants within a few minutes walk and a lot of activities on offer like horse riding, kayaking, surfing etc - all at a reasonable price.

Overall, I would highly recommend Casa do Adro and will definately be returning in the future.
