This is a lovely little getaway.
We thought our ground floor junior suite was spot on - much nicer than we thought it would be from the photos. It was a large, simply furnished/designed relaxing space. We loved watching DVDs at night on the sofa munching on our snacks and drinks we had stocked the fridge with!
We really enjoyed eating in the restaurant on 2 nights. The food was very tasty and the service was smart but friendly.
Like other reviewers, we loved that you were away from it all in a tiny little village and, more or less, left to your own devices during the day. We felt very comfortable here very quickly. The small size of the hotel, with a few other rooms/guests, makes for a very relaxed low-key atmosphere.
It feels more like your staying in a friends country home or your own holiday home than in a hotel (with the added benefit of having your room cleaned every day and a great restaurant to dine in at night). Very lovely
