Spent a great Christmas at the resort and the staff really pulled out all the stops to make it a special occasion for all its guests. Great bars which stocked a good selection of drinks, mostly local but good all the same. Facilities very good and clean, service very good. The only thing that was negative, was the behaviour of some selfish guests who made to much of being all inclusive. Highly recommended and we will return for sure.

Staff, Hotel, Location, all Amazing.
Following some previous reviews on TripAdvisor I was expecting a good holiday, not bad, kind of "yeah it was ok" getaway.
Surprise!!.A gem of a hotel/resort in a great location for an amazing family holiday. From check in speedy, friendly and welcoming.,room location, size, cleanliness and view, all fantastic. .
The rooms are spacious, we had 2 adults and a 12yr old and found this fine, very comfortable, plus soft pillows (thank goodness, as we have the pickiest 12yr old) towels, shower/bath wash etc provided that are quality products. Rooms cleaned daily and cleanliness thanks to Maria was excellent.
The food was great, freshly cooked, huge selection every meal, the chefs and Staff are brilliant, Yes it can be samey samey but it is all fresh, with lots of choice for everyone.
Snacks from 11-6 everyday, fab for the kids toasties, snacks, ice creams.
Drinks Lots of self service, loads of choice on the All Inclusive option, Bubbly every breakfast = feeling truly spoilt, The 4 bars are all fab,
Pools- are fantastic, life guards, loads of sun loungers, great fun family pools.
Animation team and entertainment - BRILLIANT for all ages, even a picky "nearly teen" LOVED the party dances, activity round the pool for kids (and us big kids on holiday too) evening shows finish at 10.30. Bruno Mars show amazing for Dad dancing on jolidays a 12-17yrs club till 11 Looked fab in there.
Beaches are beautiful

We are currently staying at the Jandia Mar and unfortunately I can't say we are having a very good time! The hotel rooms are basic but fine, the maids work hard and keep them clean. The main building is very hit and miss with cleanliness, some days it's disgusting with piles of fag ends all over the floor in outdoor seated area (and I don't just mean one or two!) and other days it's kept clean.
As others have said it's on a very steep hill 10 minutes from a beautiful beach, not an issue for us but my 5 year old hates walking up it!
The main downfall of this hotel is the food, it's appalling! We have been on loads of all inclusive holidays and we aren't fussy eaters but this place is terrible. Hot food should be kept at 63° but I would say it's between 15 -25° here, I'm not exaggerating! I even have to put my 5 year old daughter's pasta in the microwave as she says it's too cold. The selection is hit and miss, today was awful so I've been to the spar for some Pringles.
Put four star out of your mind, this hotel is just about 3 on it's very best day!

We returned following our first visit ten years ago. The rooms are spacious, clean and of a good standard. The complex is of two very well appointed pools, which are well maintained by the staff. There are a number of bars and sitting areas with light entertainment or the usual animation team offering. The restaurant is large with a very good selection of food, some of which should be hotter. The hotel sits at the top of a large hill 15 mins from Jandia’s massive beach. Overall this is a very good hotel, well worth the visit. The weather was fantastic wall to wall sunshine, a great week in the sun.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 days. It provided nesrly the same food each day. Staff were rude by removing plates why you were still eating. When we arrived sending us to the wrong place to find our room. Would not reccomend this hotel at all.

Room tip: Supply water and milk in rooms.
