Very nice hotel which is only a 15 minute walk from the beach, 2 great outdoor swimming pools, there was a good variety of food in the all inclusive buffet, friendly staff and nice clean rooms. Would definitely return to this hotel

Relaxed family friendly atmosphere The room was clean and spacious..great quality food and variety Friendly helpful staff. Excellent children's facilities and animation staff. The pillows could have been a little softer and it would have been nice to see a no reservation policy for towels on sunbeds by the pool but neither detracted from the overall holiday experience. We will definitely be returning.

We thank you for pointing out the cleanliness of our installations, being fully aware that this is an aspect of primary importance for our guests to feel comfortable in our hotel, our housekeeping staff undertakes a thorough cleaning of our installations and rooms on a daily basis.

Negatives: Staff in kitchen didn`t cater for our specific needs/ ALL Fruit allergy , not aware of having to wear long trousers (although ended up wearing new trousers offered my the hotel), beds kept slipping apart, Baby mattress in terrible state, Had to wait 2 days to get a kettle(paid 20 Euro deposit) , Spa closed on Sunday, heated swimming pool too cold for the baby so ended up paying 10 euro per adult for 2 hour use of Spa heated pool.Positives: Great wifi, Amazing Customer experience Manager But unfortunately only managed to speak to him on our last dayAdvise - GET TO SEE THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE MANAGER if you are not happy from the beginning of your stay- the general manager is not available and the other "departmental" managers aren`t helpful

Thank you for the time you took out of your day to share your comments regarding your recent stay in our Occidental Jandía Mar hotel.

With regards to our policy regarding long trousers for gentleman during evening meals, this is a standard requirement and was put in place to maintain a certain standard of class befitting of the service our guests receive from our waiters and waitresses whilst dining with us. We would also like to add that all of our partner tour operators are aware of this fact and should be notifying our guests of this prior to their arrival at our hotels where they are also reminded of this requirement at check in.

We understand reading your review that apprently you were not properly informed about the Half board type of meal plan upon reservation and would like to take the opportunity to point out that drinks are not included,as it was reported on our website. Moreover the Half Board is related to meals and the accomodation; the room safes, the parking and the Spa are reported to be available against an extra charge.

We appreciate the time you took to share your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future.

We returned from this little piece of heaven last week and cannot rate it highly enough..Everything was wonderful ... the hotel is absolutely spotless... The rooms were spacious and the bed was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The restaurant was incredible.. It was spacious, extremely well organised with an amazing selection of food and drinks... Plates were cleared very quickly and the floors were spotless. The pool areas were beautiful, plenty of sun beds, shaded areas, with great attention to detail. The gardens and palm trees were immaculately kept. The pool restaurant had a great selection and a really good searing area.. The entertainment/animation team were fabulous, very professional, friendly and very knowledgable about their craft... There was encouragement to take part in activities but no pressure...the evening entertainment was fabulous, both the in house shows and visiting acts. My mom has some difficulty walking but encountered no problems due to plenty of lift access and sloping walkways, as well as the opportunity to reserve a table for dinner at the front of the restaurant. My family and I would like to thank everyone at the Occidental Jandia Mar for all their hard work and for making everything run so seamlessly. We are already planning another visit,

Room tip: Pool and sea view rooms are lovely, both during the day and evening

Arrived on my birthday and was welcomed with chocolates and sangria in my hotel room, all throughout the stay the staff was courteous and friendly and we were impressed with the whole experience. The standard of service was excellent throughout our 14 night stay.
