My partner and I have just returned from this hotel and we were not impressed at all!!! The whole hotel needs a total refurbishment or maybe knocking down and starting again.Where do I begin, I have always believed in the 'first impression counts' theory and on this occasion the first impression was awful. The reception area was very 'tatty and tired', the roof was leaking due to the heavy rain which didn't fill me with any confidence ref the state of the rest of the hotel. The check in process was at best chaotic as only one of the receptionists spoke good English and the line of guest grew and grew. We eventually checked in and were taken to our rooms, much to our disappointment the room was as 'tatty and tired' as the reception area!!! We had booked a room with a sea view, well you had to look over the roof of the block in front to see the sea!!! The restaurant if you can call it that, was more like a canteen, bright lights, no table cloths, too many people hence no tables to sit at to eat your food. There was a lot of queue jumping by other nationalities pushing and shoving to get food which was never hot and of very poor quality. I was under the impression from photos that I had seen online that there was a more sophisticated evening dinner restaurant, WRONG!!! Don't bother taking any dressy clothing with you as you will look totally out of place. The evening entertainment, left a lot to be desired, the one night that we did see a rather good Tribute band they were only on stage for at max an hour!! Moving on to the hotel in general... the public areas in the hotel were uninviting and very cold, there was really nowhere of any quality or comfort to sit and relax, hence after the entertainment had finished in the evening we went back to our delightful room!!!! The list of things that were wrong goes on and on so I will finish here.
Good points.... the pools were very clean[ although one was closed]. The restaurant staff were very helpful and worked very hard. Location of the hotel was good, with a 5 min walk to a beautiful beach and a 15 min walk into town.
I will say that I am always very reluctant to be negative about things but on this occasion it is warranted. The hotel was made aware of our gripes so this review will be of no surprise to Customer Services.

Our room was very well appointed, maintained and cleaned. We stayed 'all inclusive'; the drinks were very good, as was the food.
Unfortunately the weather was poor during our stay and and slight problem was that a heavy shower could break out whilst walking to or from the dining hall, and as there was nowhere to shelter we got soaked several times.

If you want an all inclusive hotel, close to the beach and town of Morro Jable and Cofete, stay there! A real 4 stars hotel and facilitties.
Wonderful staff, heated pools, a huge variety of food on every meal, champaigne on dinner!:)

This was our third time here, we love Jandia, its beach and the hotel is decent though perhaps my previous reviews have been benevolent.
So two years on what’s changed? Not much.I still found I was using the word ‘frio’ multiple times during every meal. They still haven’t mastered the ability to keep food even warm. I should add frio was prefixed by stone ! Once all was equal at this hotel, now there are Royal, Plus and god knows what other categories of holidaymaker. It left me wonder where we, the average tourist, fitted into things. Steering clear of the special areas for meals it’s sometimes hard work to find a table. Staff work hard but it’s tough keeping up. They really need a restaurant manager (if they have one they are the invisible man) to marshall his troops. We liked the room and the sea-view - less so the snack bar where the late continental breakfast was poor and food during the day looked like it had been out for hours and needed condemning. Weather was a little windy. So the management took the decision to randomly close the pool bar for safety reasons for days. Laughable. Today it’s 72f gloriously sunny and a lovely gentle breeze but they won’t budge - maybe some Canarian is feeling the cold and doesn’t fancy it. Hotel run for benefit of staff rather than guests? Bizarre management. Eventually they relented but there is no excuse for making people trek up many steps and take a lift to get a drink just because. All the same we really like it here, grounds immaculate, rooms spotless, close to beach- and they do a shuttle. Be so much better if they could master the art of coping in the dining room. By the way the spa was excellent, we went twice.Cost about 12 euros...only downside was, like the other pools at at the hotel, it was icy cold.

Room tip: Higher levels block nine can give wonderful sea views.

Had an Excellent experience and Holiday and would Recommend
The hotel is a definite 4 star experience.
Hotel staff friendly. facilities top class. The Room was in a block 6 away from the hotel but not far away and very near two lovely pools. spacious room air conditioned and heated if needed large tv many channel's and fridge with complimentary water and balcony with sea view.
Day and night entertainment good the animation team very talented.
Food and drink plentiful including champagne.
We would definitively Return.
We recommend all inclusive especially as there are limited bars eating places at this location. 15 _ 20 mins walk to Jandia.
beach is fantastic but access is downhill a lift is available to take you to ground level as the hotel is on a hill
Only downside to hotel is it is not suitable for anyone who is not mobile

Room tip: Blocks 1 4 5 and 6 good location near pools and hotel"
